Safeguarding Activities

The Board's Safeguarding Partnership and Communication, Engagement and Prevention (CEP) subgroup are asking partners and organisations to provide details of any safeguarding activities or campaigns that they may be implementing to help prevent potential abuse and neglect.  This may include a wide range of topics such as exploitation, domestic abuse, financial scams, housing, neglect, self-neglect, self-harm. 

Please complete this form, save it and send to the Business Unit at bfsb@bracknell-forest.gov.uk at regular intervals and when planning new campaigns.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS) has social media campaign ‘#RBFRSAdvent’, sharing 24 days’ worth of advice to help residents stay safe during the festive period. The campaign will see a new safety message shared on RBFRS’ social media channels every day from 1-24 December. RBFRS launches its social media campaign to help residents stay safe this festive season

This is a safe and welcoming community cafe for anyone to attend. Free hot and cold drinks provided & lunches at very low cost. Fresh Start

Our Fresh Start course provides a safe and confidential place to tackle unhealthy habits or addictions - to break free and stay free. This could include smoking, drinking, over-eating or gambling to name a few. Meeting weekly 8:00pm-9:30pm and each week spend time discussing a different topic. We're a friendly bunch and you're welcome to come along and share as little or as much as you like. CAP Life Skills

Money is a source of stress for many individuals, especially for those on a low income. The CAP Life Skills course focuses on the following areas: money, organisational skills, health and wellbeing and building healthy relationships. Set up so that we can financially support those struggling with the growing cost of living. This fund will be used to help those who are suffering financial hardship during this difficult time & decisions made on a case by case basis (not for social media)
