Welcome to the Bracknell Forest Safeguarding Board
Bracknell Forest Safeguarding Board (BFSB) was established in 2019 to ensure an ‘all age’ approach to the protection of children and adults.
To achieve this, BFSB co-ordinates the work of local organisations and supports members of the community in order that they can safeguard vulnerable people living in the borough. Through effective Prevention policies, Protection procedures and Partnership working we seek to ensure our arrangements to tackle abuse, neglect and exploitation are effective. People are at the heart of our work and by listening to the cared for and to carers we aim to promote a culture of continuous improvement and collective learning that builds on local and national knowledge of emerging threats.
The website provides a wide range of useful information and resources for children and adults who may experience or be at risk of experiencing abuse, their families and carers, as well as a dedicated area which provides access to a wide range of policy and practice guidance for professionals. By publishing information in an accessible format, we also aim to ensure we are open about our work and provide helpful information that it is easily understood by all.
